I just wanted to take today to pause the ongoing policy discussions about education here in Camden. Three teenagers from Camden shot at an Easter Party last night in Oaklyn. Many Camden students, parents, educators and community members are in a lot of pain today. Here’s more details on the heart-breaking shootings: 

A shooting outside a nightclub in a former car dealership in Camden County has left one teenager dead and two others wounded, officials said.

Police said the shooting erupted about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rooftop Lounge on the 2800 block of Crescent Boulevard on the border between Camden and the West Collingswood Extension section of Haddon Township.

Three Camden residents – Tyimer Q. Bright, 18, a 16-year-old female and a 17-year-old female – were wounded, police said.
