There are a million things happening around the edges of Camden’s private and nonprofit sectors. AJ Riggs at the Camden Store shared this one with me, and I wanted to make sure to share it with you. It’s an open mic night designed to raise awareness about suicide and suicide prevention. 

 

I’m particularly glad to share the event because suicide prevention and mental health issues can often fall under the radar. It’s great to see a local business hosting youth-centric events to fill that void.
