The Latin American Economic Development Association is one of my favorite Camden organizations. It focuses on the nitty-gritty of the urban economy, helping train entrepreneurs and those looking to start small businesses and then using programs like Dine Around Friday to support local businesses. LAEDA’s annual fundraiser, Celebrating Entrepreneurship is coming up on Monday, October 20 (6 pm). It’s a great opportunity to support a worthy cause, and with Marcus Lemonis, host of hit series the Profit, it should be a lot of fun as well.
