  • Thank you so much for your blog and highlighting what our amazing young people are doing at UrbanPromise!! They keep up this cemetery – which is a burial site for African American servicemen (including from the Civil War), and in addition to that they are doing so many other great things – like sponsoring kids in Africa to go to school and raising supplies for Broad Street Ministries. There are so many great children, teens, and families in Camden that are making a huge difference for others, and I’m so grateful to be part of it! AND….thanks to the readers for your encouraging comments! We’re going to share them with the students.

    • Jodine – glad to highlight good things in Camden. If you (or better yet, your young people) would like to do a guest post talking about some of these other projects, let me know. Would love to have more young voices here. They’re an inspiration to the rest of us.
