There’s been plenty to talk about locally, but there’s a governor’s race throughout the state that’s picking up steam in advance of the June 6th primary. This Saturday, he’s speaking at the Camden Conference Center at 6pm (flyer below): 

I’m sad I’ll be missing this one – but hope to have a guest post. There’s a lot of interesting pieces to this, and I know a couple of Camden activists are vocally supporting Johnson. Johnson is running a unique campaign — one largely divorced from the type of insider baseball with Democratic County Committees that the state is known for. My guess is that strategy depends on massive turnout in the state’s city’s.
