Want to make sure to invite our readers to this. Here’s the blurb:

Doctoral students in the Public Affairs–Community Development Ph.D. program and the Department of Public Policy and Administration invite you to the Second Annual State and Local Economic Development Policy Graduate Student Conference on March 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Neighborhood Center, Camden. The goal of this conference is to connect research on local and state economic development strategies to research, policy, legislative, and community leaders who can incorporate it into their work. The event is free and open to the public, though registration is required.  Click here for more information or contact Curtis M. Williams II at curtwill@scarletmail.rutgers.edu

And here’s the flier and website

This conference gets a lot of the little things right — it’s a nice touch to hold it at the Neighborhood Center (drawing people outside of downtown Camden). The graduate student research is wonderful. And it leavens traditional research presentations with practitioner panels. I hope you can make it!

I’ll be giving the conference’s closing remarks — probably around 4:45pm.
